Cat studied at the Glasgow School of Art and RMIT University in Melbourne ahead of working in notable practices in Sweden, London and Glasgow.

She has experience running projects across all RIBA stages within a variety of sectors including, high end retail, cultural, community led and multi-million-pound housing developments.

She has an interest for promoting the circular economy and examining where closed loop ideals may be incorporated within a project.  

Her interest in circular strategies also extends to the sustainable sourcing of materials and material design, completing courses in association with Lund University in Sweden and the University of the Arts London.

Cat teaches part-time at ESALA (Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture) at the University of Edinburgh and is also a co-founder of Open Plan Scotland, working to promote further inclusivity and diversity within the construction industry in Scotland.
