Commissioned by the Great Steward of Dumfries House Trust, Oliver Chapman Architects was asked to prepare a feasibility study for the conversion of existing agricultural buildings into twelve dwellings supplemented by a further twenty new build residences.

The scheme seeks to complete the fourth side of the traditional courtyard layout to create a sheltered communal environment enhanced by the installation of wetland pools fed by rainwater attenuation tanks.
