Short Breaks House
Duns, Berwickshire
Short Breaks House is two shared, supported dwellings used by individuals with disabilities on a temporary basis to provide respite care.
The building completes the final piece of Oliver Chapman Architect’s award winning Todlaw care centre; compromising fourteen semi-detached dwellings and a communal shared services building.
Drawing from the same typology as Todlaw, the pitched roof dwellings are clad in a considered combination of fibre cement slates and larch boarding.
