Organised by the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland together with the Carbon Trust, this day-long seminar sought to educate architects on the impact of climate change and the future of the construction industry. It featured notable speakers such as the environmentalist Jonathon Porritt (chair of the Sustainable Design Commission) and focussed on the global repercussions of a carbon-based currency as well as local building studies

Informed and inspired by these lectures, Oliver Chapman Architects are now working on a briefing system to help their clients make more informed decisions about the viability of sustainable design elements at an early stage in the construction programme.
