Scottish Borders Council Design Awards Winner
/ Jan 26, 2010Our supported housing project at Station Court, Todlaw, Duns has won the Scottish Borders Council's Bi-annual Housing Design Award.
Andrew Lowe, Director of Social Work at the council and Colin Young of Berwickshire Housing Association attended the ceremony at the Council Chambers this afternoon. The judges commented that the “...highly innovative use of space and materials provide a new place of distinct character”.

Garden Room
/ Jan 21, 2010OCA are pleased to announce that planning permission has been secured for their client's residential project at Trinity Road, Edinburgh.
The project creates a new Summer Room which exploits available orientation and helps reconnect the house to the garden. We are working with David Narro Associates to engineer a zig-zag timber structure supporting a Sedum roof. The palette of materials includes oak shingles, glass + copper and work is now progressing towards a Building Warrant submission.
