Presentation to HRH, The Prince of Wales
/ Jan 21, 2008Oliver Chapman Architects were asked to present current proposals for Dumfries House to HRH The Prince of Wales, and then spend the day assessing the house and its designed landscape. The estate has been preserved for the nation by a consortium including HRH and the Scottish Government, and represents one of the most architecturally significant country houses in the British Isles. The practice was also asked to explore options for a bespoke four-star hotel and some new-build housing.
