The Bat House Project
/ Sep 10, 2007Competition submission lodged for the Bat House Project (organised by the RIBA) which will form part of the London Wetland Centre in Barnes. This somewhat unusual project employs a variety of re-claimed materials to create a secure habitat for this endangered spieces.
We collaborated with Lisa Mackenzie Landscape Architect to create a tangible sense of place, where the ‘Bat House’ would be seen as an orientation device, given the expansive nature of the site.

Progress at Barnton Avenue
/ Sep 6, 2007Our project at 68 Barnton Avenue has successfully secured Planning Permission.
The existing 1980's villa will be transformed by being wrapped in larch cladding with render panels and a new slated roof. Part of the existing garden will accommodate a new 4-bedroom house which echoes the same palette of materials and augments the overall composition.
