    The Bat House Project

    The Bat House Project

    / Sep 9, 2007

Competition submission lodged for the Bat House Project (organised by the RIBA) which will form part of the London Wetland Centre in Barnes. This somewhat unusual project employs a variety of re-claimed materials to create a secure habitat for this endangered spieces.

We collaborated with Lisa Mackenzie Landscape Architect to create a tangible sense of place, where the ‘Bat House’ would be seen as an orientation device, given the expansive nature of the site.

    Progress at Barnton Avenue

    Progress at Barnton Avenue

    / Sep 5, 2007

Our project at 68 Barnton Avenue has successfully secured Planning Permission.

The existing 1980's villa will be transformed by being wrapped in larch cladding with render panels and a new slated roof. Part of the existing garden will accommodate a new 4-bedroom house which echoes the same palette of materials and augments the overall composition.
