The Great Steward of Scotland's Dumfries House Trust
/ Dec 14, 2007Following an invited interview process, Oliver Chapman Architects have been appointed to prepare proposals for Dumfries House in Ayrshire. This early masterpiece by John, Robert + James Adam was built between 1754-60 for the 5th Earl of Dumfries but is now in the care of The Great Steward of Scotland's Dumfries House Trust, who hope to open it to the public next summer. A planning application has been lodged for initial works to this unique grade A-listed property.

Planning Success in Edinburgh's New Town
/ Dec 5, 2007We are delighted to have won permission for this proposal of four town houses and an art gallery in Gayfield Square, part of the Edinburgh World Heritage site.
This continues a long standing connection between the developer, art gallery (doggerfisher) and this practice that began with the change of use of the former car tyre garage into a gallery and artist studios.
