Michael Collins

Michael trained in Edinburgh at the Edinburgh College of Art, and Barcelona where he worked before settling back in Edinburgh. He has considerable experience designing affordable residential developments. He manages a small technical support team to produce detailed packages of information. He recently completed a Common Purpose leadership programme that brought him valuable insight into issues relating to architecture and the built environment such as the local economy, healthcare and education. He leads the ‘Making Architecture’ classes and this year’s summer school through Schop, our sister organization. He has also recently undergone Passivhaus training.
